How to Submit an Article or Photo to The Firemen’s Grapevine
The Firemen’s Grapevine welcomes articles and photos on any topic that may be of interest to LAFRA and LAFD members and their families. The suggested length of articles is not to exceed 1000 words, but submissions of any length will be considered. We prefer original unpublished works but will consider articles that have been previously published.

Please note that we prefer to receive articles via e-mail as word.doc format attachments and photos may be forwarded via e-mail in jpg, gif, or bmp format attachments.
Our submission deadline is the 1st of the month for the following month (i.e. January 1st for the February issue). We read all submissions promptly and will contact you as soon as practical if we are going to publish your article or photo.
By uploading an article and/or photograph, you certify that it is your original work and you own the article and/or photo or have the right to permit The Firemen’s Grapevine to use and publish them, along with your name and likeness. All submitted material may be published, used or distributed in print, electronic or other media without compensation.
The Firemen’s Grapevine reserves the right to reject any article and/or photograph or to edit, crop, or adjust the colors of the photograph as needed.
