It is designed by our LAFD firefighters for our LAFD firefighters. No insurance company gets in the middle of your care or decides what your coverage looks like. Enrollment for you as a firefighter, along with one dependent is FREE. And, you do not need to meet a high deductible before benefits apply.
The plan covers most in-network benefits at 100% after the copay. If you or your qualifying family members are not already covered by the Relief PPO Medical Plan, be sure to sign-up in the next Open Enrollment period, usually held each April and October.
