Like some, I found it challenging – and somewhat intimidating – to coax my first on-duty smile from Kenny. Once we got to know each other, it became evident that behind his reserved exterior was one of the kindest and most caring people to ever wear an LAFD uniform. Thank you Kenny for you service and friendship; for always giving it your all, and for helping one young Firefighter/Paramedic learn to see the book of life beyond its cover. Rest in Peace my friend.

Like Brian said’ Kenny was an intimidating guy but once you got through, he was stand up guy with a BIG HEART! not to mention a Great Cook ! Thank you for the great meals brother, and for the service, RIP.

I first met Kenny in 1972 at FS 39 then over the years our families spent many fun times together. Ken and I worked together at 11’s and 90’s and he was very special to all who knew him. Kenny, my friend, thank you for all the good times, you are thought of often and sorely missed.
