I worked will Bill at FS-27 in the early 70’s. Years later we trailered a boat to the Baja with 2 other friends and had a grand time fishing and camping. On the way home, Bill insisted we stop in Ensenada at his friend’s home, a retired Navy Captain. The home was a huge place right on a cliff above the Pacific. On the spur of the moment, this man and his wife treated us to a fine seafood meal along with all the wine and beverage you might want! It turned out that this former Naval Aviator was my Commanding Officer while I was assigned to NAS Los Alamitos. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and coincidence. Thank you Bill for a Grand Adventure I will never forget.
