Tips for Healthy Social Media Use

January 28, 2021

Find a balance with social media

Set limits for yourself

A reminder can help you schedule time away from screens. Experiment with the limits and see what works best for you.

Weed through the content

Notice how the posts make you feel. Ask yourself — do I feel tense or stressed as I scroll through? Or grounded and relaxed?

Eliminate the clutter

There’s a lot of content out there! Try to only follow your favorite accounts so you can absorb and appreciate the information.

Find support online

If you need care, doctors on LiveHealth Online can help with:

  • Acne
  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Rash
  • Sinus infection
  • Sore throat
  • Urinary tract infection (UTI)
