The Basics of A Trust

April 9, 2020

Planning for the future and securing your financial, physical and emotional needs will be met, as well as the needs of your loved ones, no matter what the circumstance, is important.

Attorney Gary W. Morris answers key questions about setting up an estate plan, including why a will alone may not be enough, the types of assets and property that go into a trust and those that do not. He also explains how to avoid ending up in court for a costly and lengthy probate procedure.

Gary is a senior partner at the Law Offices of Hart, Mieras & Morris, Inc. and has decades of experience. He received his Juris Doctor from the Loyola University School of Law. Gary’s main areas of practice include estate planning (with particular emphasis on the Living Trust), Trust Administration, probate, asset protection, and business, corporate and real estate law.

Hart, Mieras & Morris, Inc. hosts complimentary Living Trust seminars and Trust Administration workshops throughout the year. Check here for upcoming dates along with other resources. Gary’s motto is: “By planning ahead by creating a Living Trust, you can save on income and estate taxes, protect your assets against Probate, and save your families a lot of time, money and heartache!”
