Bob was our Engineer at 83’s for a few years in the early seventies. He was very good at the job and was always a lot of fun to be around. He tried to teach me how to play pinochle because he got tired of my usually winning at hearts. It didn’t take, but he kept trying. I’m disappointed that more guys didn’t comment on his passing. I guess we’re getting so old there isn’t many of us left from that era..
