Sad to see Bob’s passing. May God Bless him with open arms and may God Bless his family. We went through the Drill Tower together Class of 4-17-71. We worked on and off with each other in the early years but unfortunately lost track of each other as time went on.

I was “Spoon’s” Engineer on the A shift at 86’s when he first made Captain. We did some good work together and had some good times together.. Dave (Jesse) Kellogg was also part of our crew. Wherever Dave is, I hope he and Spoon are now together.
    Sleep well, old friends.

Captain Witherspoon was my captain after the completing the Drill Tower. It was a pleasure to work with Bob Witherspoon and the other members of the crew. I was blessed to know him.

    Rest in peace.
