Rick and I were in the same class at Eagle Rock High School. He was always the “popular” guy, but so very down-to-earth and friendly. We even double-dated on occasion (that term has certainly vanished from our vocabulary). Another classmate who was also my high school best friend, Gail Armitstead Agricola, Rick and Andy (Rick’s brother) met at Black Angus in Burbank for lunch and catching up just prior to our 35th High School Reunion in 1995. Gail passed away surprisingly in 2004, and now with Rick’s passing, another good and kind classmate and friend is gone.
I send my condolences to Rick’s family and will pray for God’s comfort at this very difficult time.

Rick and I were roommates back in the 80’s and also partners in a laundromat in Laughlin Nevada. We snow skied and dove together along with many other adventures. Our claim to fame was Gold Mining. We both owned stock in different gold mines and never managed to Strike It Rich. Rick’s Entrepreneurial skills made him a very interesting
guy, always following his nose like a blood hound into adventure and challenges. You will be missed my friend RIP.
My Wife and I send our condolences to Karen and all of their family
