I worked with Neil at 26’s on the other shift. He was a real nice and patient man. He really stood out, surrounded by the wild animals that worked there. At the same time, he garnered respect as a solid fireground Captain. He was a strong role model and a pleasure to work with. Rest in Peace Neil and thanks.
I first worked with Niel at 22;s, then again at 26’s, always nice to be around, very informative. A very good person. Peace to his family.
I had a couple of assignments with Neil and enjoyed working with him. He had a nice attitude about every thing and was an easy man to work with.
RIP Neil
Neil interviewed me for OCD back in 1980 & I told him I didn’t want to be (Drafted then) @ OCD, He told me I was Highly Recommended (?), Turns out my good friend Tom Dowling assigned @ OCD put my name in (LOL), Had a good time working with Neil @ OCD, A true Gentleman,
Rest Peacefully Capt.
Neil was a real gentleman and fine officer. He was on another shift at FS 26 and helped maintain some semblance of normalcy and order with the crazy antics going on there. My sympathies to his family. Rest in peace Neil.
Enjoyed working at SQ 34 with Neil. He and I responded to most of the calls at 34. Drove to Crestline to buy his red boat, our first. Fine man real gentleman.
