I was sorry to learn of your passing. You were the A/O when I got transferred to F.S.94 in the late 1970’s. You taught me a lot about truck company operations and tillering. You were alway positive and big help to anyone who wanted to learn. RIP my friend. Duane
Great memories of Mike in the early 80’s at Fire Station 64 and of his late great Water Buddy, Harry “Balls” Correll. What a great team. Mike was known for his work ethic, mechanical knowledge, driving skills and corny jokes. I fondly remember getting that first run of the morning and heading down 108th with Captain John White, drinking a cup of coffee, saying he had no fear of spilling a drop because of Mike’s smooth driving and shifting. Fun times and a great training ground for a young firefighter. Thank you, Mike
Remember Mike at FS 94, great guy and always fun to work on his shift. good hard working auto fireman. RIP Mike, Gary Carr Engineer 94B
Mike and I were classmates, and although we were never assigned together I remember him well. Along with being classmates we both got on the Job young (21 y/o) which back then was the minimum. May you rest in peace Mike.
Mike was my relief at 94’s. If the truck had a run late in the shift and something was dirty when I arrived,
Mike would stay over and help clean. Mike always had the red paint at the end our axes perfect.
Rest in Peace Mike
