Getting enough sleep can slow the aging process, lower anxiety levels, boost your mood, and more! Challenge yourself to get at least 7 hours of sleep each night.

APRIL – Steps Challenge / Steps to a younger you.
The April Steps Challenge runs from April 1, 2022 to April 30, 2022. It’s all about adding more movement to your day, while reaping the rewards. Getting more movement has shown to reduce stress, improve productivity, boost your sleep and lower your RealAge. Which means this challenge is a win-win!
The goal
Take 3,400 steps per day between April 1, 2022 and April 30, 2022 to meet the challenge goal of 105,000 steps. Don’t worry, getting more movement is easier than you think. Take an extra lap around the block with the dog, try for a few more minutes on the treadmill or convert your daily activities to get credit for things like housework, yoga or gardening.
How the challenge works
- Log in to your Sharecare account or register at www.LAFRA.org/wellness.
- Find the Challenges under the Achieve icon.
- Look for April Steps Challenge and click Join.
- Grab your smartphone, pedometer, or any other activity tracker, and start recording your steps. Aim for at least 3,400 steps a day.
How do I track my steps?
There are two ways to track your steps:
Automatic Tracking: Sync with your Samsung or iPhone’s Health apps or Android’s Google Fit app to allow for seamless, automatic input of your steps data.
Manual Tracking: Each day, log in to the Sharecare app to manually record the number of steps you’ve taken. Use the steps conversion chart to convert your activities to steps.

If you take 105,000 steps by April 30, 2022, you will earn 1,000 reward points to use toward thousands of prizes in the Sharecare Marketplace.
TO JOIN THE CHALLENGE:
- Go to LAFRA.org/wellness and create your Sharecare account.
- From the Achieve page, click Challenges.
- Select Upcoming or Active and then Available.
- Find the Monthly Stress Challenge page and select Join Challenge.
Use the Sharecare app for the best experience!
To get the benefits from LAFRA Wellness, create your account first from a web browser and then download the app. Log in to Sharecare using the username and password created with your account. During the challenge, log in every day using your computer or the app and update your trackers.
