Gene was an absolute gentleman and a top-notch Inspector. We lived on the opposite sides of the hill from each other. Gene was instrumental in preparing me for the Inspector’s exam. He freely gave of his time and expertise, not only to me, but to anyone who needed his help. My condolences to the Fairrington family. RIP, Gene.
