SCHEDULE

9:00 am
We all meet at the Griffith Park Bird Sanctuary at 2900 N. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90027, above the Greek Theater for the hash or hike to the benches. Note: You are encouraged to car-pool, if possible, as parking in this area may be limited (it is a popular hiking area). Allow sufficient time if you walk to the meeting area after parking near the Greek Theater.

10:00 am
Meet at the 1st bench above “Captain’s Roost.” We will do a toast to Richard/Hozer/Dickie/Mongo with Diet Coke. You are invited to share experiences with Richard/Hozer/Dickie/Mongo.

10:30 am
Go to the 2nd and 3rd benches. You will again be invited to share stories about Richard/Hozer/Dickie/Mongo.

12:00 pm
Hike ends, return back to the Bird Sanctuary.

12:00 – 12:30 pm
At the Bird Sanctuary, wait for the Hashers and share additional memories about your relationship with Richard/Hozer/ Dickie/Mongo.

12:30 – 1:00 pm
Leave Griffith Park to go to LA Fire Department Museum, located at 1355 N. Cahuenga Blvd. in Hollywood. Parking is available at 1439 N. Cahuenga off the alley south of CNN Building for $10.00 per day. Seating will be indoors for some and outdoors for others. Please plan accordingly due to the weather forecast for that day.

1:00 pm
First showing of the visual history of Richard’s life on the 2nd Floor of the Museum. Munchies/finger food will be available. You are invited to bring your beverage of choice (beer and wine are acceptable).

2:00 – 4:00 pm
“In-N-Out” Truck serving burgers, chips, & soda. You can pick up a free ticket at the designated table.

5:00 pm
Event concludes.
