I worked with Oley at FS 22, he was an Engineer and cartoonist. He and I created the stations closing tee shirt showing the engine driving into the sunset and he drew it. I wanted to attach a picture for his family but this site won’t allow it. RIP buddy
Did Ole work at 14 as a captain and retire to Minnesota? Hated onions.
“OLE” you will be missed. From that 1st cup of coffee at “Mrs. Olson’s” where you guided me into the house I am in 36 years later, Thanks for all of the great memories. I will think of you in the park on our walks. God Bless you my friend, Patch.
Elmer, or Ole as he was called when he was my relief as Auto-Firemen at 20’s in the mid 70s. Elmer was kind of a quirky guy as an A/O as we were called after a while. I was always aware of his love for Jesus and for the LAFD. He served our department well. (Psalm 139}
