Met Dave when I transferred down to old FS 48-B in 1980, Dave was the McGiver there, he was always working on things on Truck 48 to make it better. Dave started the Annual Fishing tournament for the harbor stations, Then when 48’s was made a Hazmat Taskforce Dave played a big part in the training and organization of the squad. He continued by becoming an instructor for hazmat. his next challenge was to get involved in USAR, and became a member of that squad that went to the Trade Center in New York. Dave was a good friend and will be missed. My sincere condolences to Sandie and his family. Gary Carr
