David like to play practical jokes on people, so when he got a new turnout coat. The first thing he did was get the lettering kit from the chief. Laid out his name and just before he could start using the black ink pad there was a call to the front office. Brian Phillips rearranged the stencils. We all walked away but could see the new name being created DAVID SLOWROL. He enjoyed the comradery.

What fun! Dad was always a good-humored, practical joker and he could take it just as well as he could give it. This is fun to hear the stories of him. Thanks for sharing!
