Bruce was one of my classmates, April ’75 A. We worked together at 90’s and then 114’s. Always fun with a big smile and a bigger heart. I am sadden to hear of his passing. You will be missed.

I was 10 Months on the job, still on probation, finished all 3 previous stations. They moved me to FS 105 and said basically you are done with probation. My first day they wanted me to give a mini drill. I am looking at C II Bascom, Bruce , Mark Gentry and a couple of others. I was so intimidated, more like scared. After I stammered through it Bruce gave me a big bear hug and said relax and welcome. A wonderful guy my condolences. RIP

Also, a classmate, great guy. Had some fun trips to East Cape in the 80’s. I’ll always
remember he and his brother competing doing one armed pushup at 17’s in the 70’s
    RIP my friend.

Bruce and Barry are the sole reason I became a LAFD fireman. Met Bruce and his brother in a gym (Holiday Health Spa) mid 70’s. Basically would not leave me alone until I took the written at Hollywood HS. A close friend ever since. RIP Big Guy………

Bruce and I were classmates at drill tower 89 (class 4-27-75). We worked together at 90″s and Air Ops. After his retirement and mine, we always kept in contact talking about our Fd days and flying. We both had a passion for each of those topics. I”m going to mis you big guy. Save a spot for me at the Big fire house in the sky. I”ll be along oner of these days.
