Life & Accident Fund

The Life & Accident Fund provides Life Insurance and a Permanent Disability Benefit for its members. This fund becomes active the day you become an Association member and sign-up for it. Upon the death of a member in good standing, the beneficiary will receive a $12,000 death benefit.

Additional benefits include:

• $6,000 Permanent Disability;
• $6,000 Mental Disability;
• After 20 years of paying the assessment, you may withdraw the total amount paid, which will include a 7% simple interest return. *If these funds are not withdrawn, the $12,000 death benefit will be paid to the designated beneficiary.

Life & Accident participation requires an assessment of $5 per month ($2.50 per paycheck). After 20 years of assessments, deductions will no longer be required.
