Brittney EugenioBrittney started her journey off to college in the Fall of 2009. As a freshman at the University of California, Santa Barbara, she plans to major in teaching and/or go into Pre-Med. "I would like to have a career that involves working with children in either the teaching or medical profession," she said.
Brittney applied for the scholarship to give her a better choice in colleges and enusre she can afford UCSB, which was one of her top choices.

What did receiving this scholarship from the Relief Association mean to you?
Receiving this scholarship is an honor and I feel proud because I have worked so hard the last four years and being [awarded] any scholarship makes all my hard work worthwhile.
How will this scholarship help you with your education?
This scholarship will enable me to afford to go to University of California, Santa Barbara and get the best education possible so that I enter the workforce as a top candidate.
What advice do you have for future scholarship recipients?
Be proud of your accomplishments, always work hard and be thankful that there are organizations like this one who help make your dreams and goals a reality.
How would you like to make a difference in this world and give back to your community?
I have watched my parents give back to the community through their careers as an LAFD Firefighter and a teacher. I hope to give back just as they have through working with children either as a teacher or a pediatrician.
