Dependents coverage will be effective on the same date as yours if you enroll your eligible dependents at the same time that you enroll, authorize any necessary payroll deduction(s) and pay all premiums due.
You can add newly acquired dependents to your coverage without restriction within 60 days of any of the following events:
If your dependents are NOT added to your coverage within this 60-day period, they will be required to wait until the nest Open Enrollment Period, unless they exprience an IRS approved status change.
Open Enrollment
The Open Enrollment period is generally held in the Spring of each year. Changes made during the Open Enrollment period will be effective July 1. The Board of Trustees of the Association, at its sole discretion, may approve additional Open Enrollment periods or change the existing one.
